Clinic MML Medical Centre, situated near the Babka Tower in Warsaw, has state-of-the-art, fully equipped facilities for laryngological and ophthalmological diagnostics and surgery. We provide diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders, such as snoring and apnoea. We are the most experienced centre in Poland in minimally invasive ambulatory procedures which eliminate the causes of these diseases.
We specialize in day surgery in which we use the latest surgical techniques for treatment of laryngological and ophthalmological diseases. We take great care about the comfort and safety of our patients, and after the surgery they can stay at our centre for an extended recovery, supervised by our medical staff.
We provide treatment of frequently encountered laryngological problems, such as pain and injuries of ears, throat, nose and larynx in adults and children. We make examinations of hearing acuity, histopathological and microbiological examinations. We use a cuttingedge surgery and endoscopic equipment from OLYMPUS.
Our ophthalmological examinations cover the entire range of sight disorders. Our specialization is diagnosis and treatment of obstruction of the lacrimal ducts, cataracts, glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. In addition, we offer a professional selection of spectacles and contact lenses. The ophthalmological unit is equipped with specialist equipment from TOPCON (Japan).
We currently cooperate with specialists in other areas of medicine, such as phoniatrists, audiologists, anaesthesiologists, neurologists and internists who can be consulted and provide advice. Snoring Treatment Centre
Monday to Friday 8.00-20.00 hours
Our specialty is full diagnostics and effective treatment of breathing disorders during sleep. We treat patients suffering from chronic snoring and sleep apnoea. We use various contemporary treatment methods. In addition to already used bipolar thermoablation (Celon) we are the only facility in Poland to use the lastest method – the harmonic technique.
Endoscopic catheterization of sinuses
Recently we have been performing surgery of nasal sinuses using the so-called ballooning technique. Thanks to special balloons for patency restoration, the surgery is safer, less invasive and more effective in removing the symptoms of sinusitis.
Examination of the obturation area (location of obstruction) in upper respiratory tracts during pharmacologically induced sleep
We are the only healthcare provider in Poland to make such examination.
This examination is used to find a narrowing, obturation within the nose, nasopharynx, pharynx and throat in people with chronic snoring and central sleep apnoea.
For duration of the examination, an anaesthesiologist puts the patient into a short sleep by administering medicines intravenously (for the purpose ofsedation). A thin fibre-optic endoscope with a camera on the end is introduced through the nasal foramen to provide a detailed assessment of the narrowing and the vibration of tissues.
Our services
Use of harmonic knife in laryngology, facial plastic surgery and laryngological and orthognathic surgery
In laryngological and orthognathic surgery and in facial plastic surgery we use a harmonic knife. Such a knife increases the precision of the surgery and prevents bleeding for an increased safety. The convalescence period after the surgery performed with a harmonic knife is also reduced.
Use of harmonic knife in laryngology:
- Undercutting of a shortened frenulum of the tongue and lip (frenotomy)
- Plastic surgery of nasal concha
- Plastic surgery of posterior nares
- Glossoplasty (reduction of tongue mass, root of the tongue)
- Plastic surgery of soft palate
- Removal (partial or total) of pharyngeal tonsil and palatine tonsils
- In surgery of the tumours, cervical lymph nodes
- In surgery of salivary glands (i.e. incision of submandibular ducts in case sialolithiasis, removal of submandibular ducts)
- Removal of well vascularized tumours, angiofibromas, frequent in the area of upper respiratory tracts (such as papillomas, angiomas)
- Removal of lesions from very well vascularized tissues, such as the tongue
- Hypopharynx surgery (i.e. of epiglottis, side folds)
- Pharynx (phonosurgery of vocal folds, removal of polyps of vocal nodules, papillomas)
In plastic and laryngological surgery:

In laryngological and orthognathic surgery:
