3D COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY
In MML Medical Center we are owners of a modern 3D computer tomograph. It allows our doctors to make an accurate diagnosis and selection of efficient treatment. The results and further treatment are immediately consulted with the doctor.
Computed tomography uses imaging that shows soft tissues as well as bony structures. It is painless, non-invasive and in many cases allows to avoid exploratory surgery. Precise imaging of neighbouring structures enables assessment of the severity of pathological processes such as: tumours, non-cancerous growths, inflammations, etc. The acquired data enabled accurate diagnosis and starting treatment in early stages of the disease. There is a small dose of radiation used in the procedure and it takes short time.
