Prof. dr hab. n. med. Marek Prost
Prof. Marek Prost, MD, PhD is a specialist in eye diseases, a graduate of the Medical University of Lublin. In the years 1973-1994 he worked at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Medical University of Lublin. In the years 1994-2002 he was the head of the Ophthalmology Clinic of the “Children’s Memorial Health Institute”. Since 2002, he has been the head of the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine in Warsaw. Prof. Prost specializes in pediatric ophthalmology: treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, diseases of the eyelids, conjunctiva and tear ducts in children. He also performs cataract, glaucoma, retinal, eyelid, conjunctival and tear duct surgeries in adults

Currently Director of the Children’s Ophthalmology Center in Warsaw. 2nd degree specialist in the field of ophthalmology. Dr Oleszczyńska-Prost was the first one in Poland to introduce the treatment method of contact lenses in the treatment of children after congenital cataract surgery and developed the principles of vision rehabilitation, orthocorrection in children in the treatment of myopia, botulinum toxin injections in children in the treatment of strabismus and nystagmus.
